Evergreen’s Pine Services Group has expanded its global footprint with the acquisition of Stratus Consulting Group, marking its first entry into the Australian market and its 17th growth acquisition to date.
The move reflects a broader trend across the ERP services landscape, where consolidation and geographic expansion are accelerating as firms seek to build scalable, cross-regional capabilities. With demand for cloud ERP, integration, and optimization services continuing to rise, service providers are increasingly positioning themselves to support customers across multiple markets and ecosystems.
Stratus Consulting Group, founded in 2017, has established itself as a mid-market ERP implementation partner in Australia, delivering more than 700 projects across platforms including MYOB Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Epicor. The firm also brings emerging capabilities in CRM through its HubSpot practice, adding a new dimension to Pine’s service portfolio.

Expanding Global Reach and Service Capabilities
With the addition of Stratus, Pine’s presence now spans the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia—extending its reach into key English-speaking ERP markets. The acquisition signals a continued focus on building a geographically diverse portfolio while maintaining localized delivery expertise.
“Stratus has built an exceptional reputation in the Australian mid-market across MYOB Acumatica, Microsoft, and Epicor,” said Lela Day, Chief People Officer at Pine Services Group. “We’re excited to build on their early momentum in HubSpot and expand our reach and relevance to businesses worldwide.”
Unlike traditional roll-up strategies, Pine emphasizes a decentralized operating model, allowing acquired firms to retain their brand, leadership, and customer relationships. This approach is designed to preserve domain expertise and cultural continuity while benefiting from shared resources and strategic support.
Strengthening Mid-Market ERP Delivery
The acquisition also reinforces Pine’s position in the mid-market ERP segment, where organizations are increasingly transitioning from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms. Providers that can combine implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization services are becoming central to these transformation efforts.
Stratus’ experience across multiple ERP ecosystems—alongside its end-to-end delivery model spanning system selection through to optimization—adds depth to Pine’s capabilities in this space. Its fully onshore delivery team and focus on customer-centric implementation align with Pine’s broader strategy of supporting long-term customer success.
Mark Belkin, CEO of Stratus Consulting Group, emphasized the strategic alignment between the two organizations, noting that Pine’s model allows the company to scale while maintaining its identity and delivery approach.
Industry Implications: Consolidation and Platform Expansion
The deal highlights a wider shift in the ERP services market, where firms are moving beyond regional specialization toward global, platform-oriented service models. As ERP ecosystems become more interconnected—spanning finance, operations, CRM, and analytics—service providers are under pressure to offer broader capabilities while maintaining deep expertise.
At the same time, customers are increasingly seeking partners that can support them across the full lifecycle of ERP transformation, from initial implementation to continuous optimization. This is driving demand for firms that can combine scale with specialization—an area where acquisitions like this play a key role.
What This Means for the ERP Services Market
With its expansion into Australia, Pine Services Group is positioning itself to serve a more global customer base while continuing to build out its portfolio of ERP and technology-enabled services providers.
As consolidation continues across the ERP services landscape, the ability to balance global reach with local expertise—and platform breadth with delivery depth—will likely define the next phase of growth in the sector.
