Sage Advances AI in ERP Delivery and Advisory Services with PwC Partnership

Sage is expanding its applied AI strategy across the ERP lifecycle. The company announced two initiatives focused on faster system deployment and more scalable advisory services. The updates come in collaboration with PwC and build on the Sage Intacct ecosystem.

The announcements were made ahead of Sage Future in San Francisco. They target two persistent challenges in finance transformation: complex ERP implementations and the difficulty of scaling advisory services.

Sage Advances AI in ERP Delivery and Advisory Services with PwC Partnership

Agentic AI Moves into the Implementation Layer

Sage and PwC are introducing a new delivery model for Sage Intacct. The model embeds agentic AI directly into implementation. It applies across design, configuration, and testing.

This approach reduces manual effort at each stage. It also improves consistency and shortens deployment timelines. The goal is simple: help finance teams go live faster and start seeing value earlier.

“This is about reimagining how software is delivered in the real world,” said Johan Jegerajan of PwC. “By reducing manual effort and standardizing key parts of the process, we can deliver Sage Intacct more efficiently.”

ERP implementation remains a major barrier for many organizations. Traditional methods rely on manual work and fragmented processes. These slow down adoption and delay outcomes.

Sage and PwC are addressing this with a more structured and repeatable model. Early deployments already show strong potential to improve quality and speed.

“Businesses don’t just need new technology,” said Gretchen O’Hara of Sage. “They need a straightforward way to get started and see the benefits.”

AI Expands the Advisory Model

Sage is also expanding its Intacct Advisory Program with new AI-powered capabilities. These updates focus on helping accounting firms scale their services more effectively.

The program introduces structured workflows, industry templates, and automation tools. These elements simplify client onboarding and improve delivery consistency.

Accounting firms face growing pressure. Talent shortages, compliance demands, and client expectations are all increasing. Many firms want to move into advisory services but struggle to scale them.

“With Sage Intacct Advisory, firms can standardize delivery and reduce manual work,” said O’Hara. “This allows them to focus on higher-value insights.”

The new capabilities help firms manage multiple clients more efficiently. They also support more consistent service delivery across finance and analytics workflows.

Industry Implications

These announcements reflect a broader shift in ERP.

AI is no longer limited to features inside the system. It is moving into how systems are implemented and how services are delivered.

Both areas have traditionally relied on manual effort. That has limited speed and scalability. By embedding AI into these layers, Sage is targeting operational efficiency—not just system capability.

Looking Ahead

Sage will share more details at Sage Future. The company is expected to expand on its AI roadmap across finance and partner ecosystems.

As ERP strategies evolve, speed and execution are becoming critical. Vendors are no longer competing only on features. They are competing on how quickly customers can deploy, adopt, and scale.
