IFS has completed its acquisition of Softeon, formally launching IFS Softeon as a unified supply chain offering. The move combines IFS’s Industrial AI capabilities and IFS Cloud platform with Softeon’s tier-1 warehouse management system (WMS) expertise, expanding IFS’s footprint across warehouse execution and supply chain operations.
The acquisition reflects a broader shift in the enterprise software landscape, as organizations seek closer alignment between ERP environments and warehouse execution systems. Many enterprises continue to operate ERP and WMS platforms in parallel, often limiting end-to-end operational visibility.

Industrial AI Meets Warehouse Management
Operating as IFS Softeon, the combined organization integrates:
- IFS’s Industrial AI capabilities and IFS Cloud platform
- Robotics orchestration expertise
- Softeon’s more than 20 years of warehouse management experience
IFS reports managing approximately $2.4 trillion in critical assets globally through its software footprint. Softeon contributes a WMS platform recognized as a Visionary in the May 2025 Magic Quadrant for Warehouse Management Systems, and supports warehouse operations across 30 countries. The combined business processes millions of orders per month.
Mark Moffat, CEO of IFS, said:
The introduction of IFS Softeon means every enterprise wrestling with the complexity of modern supply chains now has access to something genuinely new: end-to-end supply chain intelligence, from strategic decision-making to physical execution on the warehouse floor. Industrial AI meets limitless warehouse execution. That’s a combination that will supercharge what’s possible for our customers.
Jim Hoefflin, CEO of IFS Softeon, added:
Joining IFS is the natural next step in Softeon’s journey. Our customers chose us because we deliver. Now, backed by IFS’s Industrial AI platform and global reach, we can deliver even more – AI-driven warehouse orchestration, robotics interoperability, and predictive inventory intelligence. The future of warehouse management just got a whole lot more exciting.

Strategic Expansion Across the Supply Chain Stack
The integration gives existing IFS customers access to advanced warehouse management capabilities, while Softeon customers gain alignment with IFS’s broader Industrial AI platform and global ecosystem.
The combined strategy is positioned around delivering:
- Greater operational visibility across supply chain functions
- Enhanced coordination between planning and execution layers
- Embedded AI capabilities within warehouse and logistics workflows
As supply chains become increasingly automated and data-driven, tighter integration between enterprise systems and warehouse operations is becoming a strategic priority. By bringing Industrial AI and warehouse execution under a single umbrella, IFS is reinforcing its position across asset-intensive industries, manufacturing, logistics, and retail.
With the Softeon acquisition now complete, IFS Softeon represents a step toward more unified supply chain intelligence—connecting board-level strategy with warehouse-floor execution within a single technology framework.
