As organizations continue to modernize SAP environments across hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures, workflow orchestration is becoming an increasingly important component of enterprise operations. While ERP platforms provide the foundation for core business processes, ensuring those processes execute reliably across SAP and non-SAP environments remains a growing challenge as application landscapes become more distributed.
Against this backdrop, BMC Software has expanded its long-standing relationship with SAP by joining the SAP PartnerEdge program as a Build partner. At the same time, the company’s Control-M solution is now available in the SAP Store following SAP certification, extending access to workflow orchestration capabilities for organizations running SAP-centric enterprise environments.

Supporting End-to-End SAP Process Orchestration
The new PartnerEdge Build designation reinforces BMC’s collaboration with SAP while enabling customers to deploy Control-M as part of broader SAP transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), and hybrid cloud environments.
Rather than focusing solely on workload scheduling, Control-M provides centralized orchestration and monitoring across SAP applications, cloud services, data pipelines, and third-party systems. The platform is designed to help enterprises coordinate business-critical workflows from a single interface while improving operational visibility and reducing manual intervention.
As enterprises increasingly combine SAP workloads with external cloud applications and AI-enabled services, maintaining end-to-end process reliability has become a priority for IT and operations teams seeking to reduce operational complexity.
Helping Enterprises Modernize SAP Landscapes
According to BMC, Control-M enables organizations to coordinate, monitor, and resolve issues across interconnected business processes while supporting service-level agreement (SLA) management and centralized operational oversight.
Making the solution available through the SAP Store also simplifies procurement for SAP customers while SAP certification provides additional assurance that the platform meets SAP interoperability requirements for long-term compatibility.
“SAP is increasingly becoming a cornerstone within a much broader ecosystem that includes agents, multi-cloud services and hybrid environments,” said Brian Jones, Global Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at BMC.
“What sets Control-M apart is its ability to provide a universal orchestration layer that helps enable SAP customers to reliably run business processes across SAP and third-party environments, allowing them to maintain continuity and reduce disruption while protecting their SAP investments.”
Why It Matters
As enterprise architectures become increasingly heterogeneous, successful ERP modernization depends not only on migrating core applications but also on orchestrating the growing number of interconnected processes that span cloud platforms, legacy systems, data pipelines, and external applications.
As organizations modernize SAP environments, the need to coordinate workflows that span ERP, cloud services, data pipelines, and third-party applications is becoming increasingly important. Solutions such as Control-M are designed to provide centralized orchestration and visibility across these interconnected processes, helping enterprises simplify operations while maintaining business continuity.
By joining the SAP PartnerEdge program as a Build partner and making Control-M available through the SAP Store, BMC is expanding its collaboration with SAP while providing customers with additional options for orchestrating business-critical workflows across increasingly hybrid enterprise environments.
