PairSoft Appoints Vijay Vidiyala to Lead Product and AI Strategy for ERP-Embedded Finance Automation

The former SAP and Model N executive joins PairSoft as Chief Product & Technology Officer, taking responsibility for product development and engineering as the company expands its AI-driven accounts payable and procurement automation capabilities.

PairSoft has appointed Vijay Vidiyala as Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), bringing more than two decades of enterprise software experience to the company’s leadership as it develops the next generation of AI-enabled financial automation.

Announced on October 21, 2026, the appointment places Vidiyala in charge of PairSoft’s product and engineering organizations, with a mandate to advance the company’s technology strategy and strengthen its offerings for the Office of the CFO.

The move comes as finance software providers increasingly look to embed artificial intelligence into the processes surrounding enterprise resource planning systems, from invoice processing and procurement to approvals and payments.

For PairSoft, the challenge is particularly specific: extending automation within the ERP environments that finance teams already use, rather than introducing additional applications that require separate workflows and data management.

Bringing Enterprise SaaS Experience to Finance Automation

Vidiyala joins PairSoft after holding senior technology leadership positions at Model N and SAP, where his responsibilities spanned product development, engineering, operations and cloud software strategy.

Most recently, he led product, engineering and operations teams across the United States, Europe and India at Model N, contributing to the company’s SaaS transition strategy and enterprise software development.

Before joining Model N, Vidiyala spent approximately a decade at SAP, leading product development and go-to-market activities for cloud solutions.

That background is relevant to PairSoft’s current direction. Developing enterprise applications that operate within established ERP environments requires a balance between product innovation, system reliability and the operational requirements of finance departments.

Brian Rigney, Chief Executive Officer of PairSoft, said Vidiyala’s experience across major technology transitions would be important to the company’s next stage of development.

“Vijay is exactly the product and technology leader we need at this point in time,” said Brian Rigney, Chief Executive Officer of PairSoft. “He has spent his career turning deep customer insight into products that win, and he has done it through major shifts like the move to SaaS and the rise of AI. As we continue building AI solutions that streamline finance teams’ work so they can focus on building a stronger business, Vijay’s experience and customer focus will be invaluable.”

The appointment also consolidates product and engineering leadership under a single executive role, placing responsibility for technology execution alongside the development of PairSoft’s longer-term product strategy.

Why ERP-Embedded Automation Matters for the Office of the CFO

PairSoft operates in a segment of enterprise software where the relationship between automation and the underlying ERP system is particularly important.

Accounts payable and procurement processes depend on financial data, supplier records, purchasing information and approval structures maintained within enterprise applications.

When automation tools operate separately from those systems, organizations may need additional integrations, data synchronization and reconciliation processes to keep transactions consistent.

PairSoft’s approach centers on delivering automation within existing ERP environments, allowing finance teams to work with familiar systems while extending their capabilities.

The company’s portfolio includes APRO, Nimbello, PaperSave and WorkPlace, supporting accounts payable, procurement and related financial workflows.

PairSoft provides solutions across several major enterprise software ecosystems, including Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct, Blackbaud, NetSuite, Plex and Infor SyteLine.

This breadth presents both an opportunity and a technical challenge. Although finance departments share many fundamental processes, the applications they use can differ significantly in their data structures, approval models, integration capabilities and operational requirements.

Maintaining consistency across these environments while introducing new automation capabilities will be an important part of the product and engineering strategy Vidiyala is expected to lead.

Making AI Useful Within Existing Financial Workflows

Artificial intelligence is becoming an increasingly prominent component of finance automation, particularly in areas involving document processing, transaction classification, exception identification and workflow coordination.

Yet introducing AI into financial operations raises questions that extend beyond the accuracy or speed of individual tasks.

Finance teams must be able to establish how information was processed, which business rules were applied and when an exception requires human intervention.

These considerations become especially important when automation influences financial transactions, supplier payments or accounting records.

For ERP software providers, the challenge is to make AI capabilities useful within established financial processes while preserving the controls and accountability those processes require.

PairSoft is positioning its ERP-embedded approach as a foundation for that development.

“PairSoft has built something rare: an in-depth understanding of how finance teams actually work, paired with a product that lives inside their ERP rather than alongside it,” said Vidiyala. “AI is transforming what’s possible for the office of the CFO, and I’m excited to turn that potential into solutions that give our customers greater accuracy, connection, and visibility that they can rely on every day.”

The company has not disclosed specific new AI products, release dates or performance targets associated with Vidiyala’s appointment.

His immediate responsibilities will therefore concern the direction and execution of PairSoft’s product and technology strategy rather than a separately announced product launch.

From Process Automation to AI-Driven Financial Operations

Vidiyala’s appointment reflects a wider change in the enterprise finance software market.

Historically, many automation initiatives focused on removing manual steps from individual processes, such as capturing invoices, routing approvals or transferring transaction data into an ERP system.

AI introduces the possibility of extending automation into activities that require interpreting information, identifying exceptions and coordinating work across multiple stages of a financial process.

However, these capabilities are only as dependable as the data, business rules and operational controls supporting them.

For finance leaders, the question is increasingly how AI can improve the execution of existing processes without introducing new sources of inconsistency or weakening financial oversight.

PairSoft’s emphasis on ERP-embedded automation places that question at the center of its product strategy.

Rather than treating AI as an independent layer disconnected from financial operations, the company is seeking to develop capabilities that work within the enterprise systems where transactions and approvals are already managed.

Whether that approach delivers measurable advantages will depend on future product developments, customer adoption and the effectiveness of AI-driven workflows in operational environments.

For Vidiyala, the task will be to translate his experience in enterprise software and SaaS development into a product strategy that addresses those requirements across PairSoft’s supported ERP platforms.

The appointment underscores an increasingly important direction in finance technology: as AI becomes more capable, its value will depend less on what it can demonstrate independently and more on how reliably it performs within the financial systems businesses depend on every day.
