Embridge Consulting Named Exclusive UK Public Sector Reseller for Unit4 in Five-Year Agreement

Embridge Consulting has been appointed as the exclusive UK public sector go-to-market partner for Unit4 following the signing of a five-year reseller agreement, marking a significant step in the expansion of Unit4’s public sector strategy.

The partnership brings together Unit4’s people-centric, AI-enabled ERP platform with Embridge’s Business Transformation as a Service (BTaaS) delivery model, proprietary implementation accelerators, and deep sector expertise. Together, the two organizations aim to streamline how finance and HR functions operate across the UK public sector.

Strengthening ERP Delivery Across the UK Public Sector

The agreement positions Embridge as Unit4’s dedicated partner for public sector ERP initiatives across local and central government, NHS Trusts, higher and further education institutions, and emergency services.

By combining technology and delivery capabilities, the partnership is designed to provide a more consistent and structured approach to ERP implementation. This includes aligning best practices, simplifying procurement processes, and ensuring continuity from initial engagement through to long-term optimization.

The move reflects growing demand for more integrated and sector-specific ERP delivery models, particularly in complex public sector environments where transformation initiatives must balance operational continuity with modernization.

Building on a Long-Standing Collaboration

Embridge Consulting has worked closely with Unit4 since 2015 and has achieved elite partner status for six consecutive years across both commercial and ERP service categories. The company has also reached the highest partner tier for Unit4’s FP&A solutions.

In 2025, Embridge was named Unit4’s Global Service Partner of the Year, further reinforcing its role within the Unit4 ecosystem.

Over the past two years, Embridge has supported 17 digital transformation projects built on Unit4 solutions. These include large-scale implementations such as the deployment of Unit4 ERPx at the University of Liverpool and a successful ERP go-live at Devon County Council, which was shortlisted for Digital Finance Project of the Year at the Public Finance Awards 2025.

A New Model for Public Sector ERP Transformation

The partnership introduces what both organizations describe as a more unified and outcome-driven approach to ERP transformation in the public sector.

Emma O’Brien, Founder and CEO of Embridge Consulting, commented:

“Becoming Unit4’s exclusive public sector reseller for the UK marks an exciting milestone for Embridge. This agreement formalises what our clients have already experienced — a unified team focused on sector-aligned, outcome-led transformation. We are now focused on accelerating the pace of transformation for public sector organisations across the UK.”

From Unit4’s perspective, the collaboration is expected to enhance delivery speed while maintaining a strong focus on customer outcomes.

Vera Batyalova, VP Partner Sales at Unit4, said:

“The Embridge team has consistently demonstrated its ability to translate technology into real organisational impact. This agreement enables Embridge to bring the full value of Unit4’s solutions to public sector organisations with greater speed and simplicity, while allowing us to continue focusing on innovation.”

Addressing Complexity in Public Sector ERP

Industry analysts highlight that ERP transformation in the public sector requires more than technical capability. Successful delivery depends on domain expertise, structured change management, and delivery models aligned with organizational readiness.

Craig Wentworth, Research Director at TechMarketView, noted that exclusive partnerships such as this can help reduce implementation risk while accelerating time to value by combining software capabilities with sector-specific delivery expertise.

Supporting Unit4’s European Growth Strategy

The announcement comes as Unit4 continues to expand its presence across Europe, with a broader ambition to strengthen its position as a leading provider of enterprise applications for people-centric organizations.

At the same time, Embridge’s growth trajectory—recognized by Consultancy UK as one of the fastest-growing transformation consultancies in the UK—positions the company as a key player in shaping how ERP is delivered across the public sector.

With this agreement, both organizations aim to set a new standard for ERP implementation in the UK public sector, focused on consistency, scalability, and long-term transformation outcomes.
