CardConnect Announces New CardPointe Mobile Release with Catalog Feature

CardConnect® (NASDAQ:CCN) today announced a new release of CardPointe Mobile, the company’s popular comprehensive payment app for smartphones and tablets, with the addition of Catalog, a new feature that allows businesses to label, price, discount and categorize their products and services all in one place.

CardPointe Catalog was designed for merchants to easily conduct sales directly within the app they already use to manage transactions and securely process credit and debit cards. With these added features, the app becomes a simplified point-of-sale option that is suitable for businesses like retail shops, quick-service dining and in-home services.

“There have been several high-profile releases for us this year already and the CardPointe Catalog is something we’re really excited about for small to medium size businesses specifically,” said Jeff Shanahan, Chief Executive Officer and President of CardConnect. “It’s the perfect tool for merchants to further simplify and customize the checkout process to fit the unique needs of their business.”

Managing products and discounts in Catalog can be done using either the mobile app or in any browser using CardPointe Desktop. As with all CardPointe products, all transactions are secured with CardConnect’s PCI-validated point-to-point encryption (P2PE) and tokenization.

CardPointe Catalog is available at no additional cost to all CardConnect merchants. The app is compatible with both mobile and tablet devices and can be downloaded via Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
