Proactis Strengthens Leadership Team as It Targets Next Phase of Source-to-Pay Growth

Proactis has expanded its senior leadership team with the appointment of Stewart Monk as Chief Revenue Officer and Chris Rauch as Chief Operating Officer, adding new commercial and operational leadership as the Source-to-Pay software provider prepares for its next phase of growth.

The appointments are notable in the context of Proactis’ position in the enterprise finance and procurement technology market. The company focuses on modular Source-to-Pay technology for mid-market, service-focused organizations, with capabilities spanning supplier management, sourcing and contract management through Purchase-to-Pay and Accounts Payable automation. Its platform is also designed to integrate with existing ERP and finance environments rather than require organizations to replace their core systems.

That positioning makes the two leadership roles particularly relevant. Monk will focus on revenue strategy, customer and partner engagement and go-to-market execution, while Rauch will concentrate on operational performance, customer success and the structures required to support the business as it scales.

Stewart Monk Takes on Chief Revenue Officer Role

Monk joins Proactis with more than 30 years of experience building and scaling go-to-market operations across ERP, HCM, education and professional services organizations.

As Chief Revenue Officer, his remit will include strengthening Proactis’ commercial organization and supporting the company’s growth strategy while maintaining an emphasis on customer and partner relationships.

“At a pivotal moment for technology innovation I am thrilled to be joining Proactis to support our ability to deliver exceptional value to our customers and to lead the future of spend management technology,” Monk said.

He added that his priorities include bringing operational and cultural improvements to the revenue function and strengthening engagement with customers and partners.

Proactis CEO Andrew Reardon said Monk’s experience building customer-focused revenue organizations would support the company as it strengthens its go-to-market capabilities.

The appointment comes as Proactis continues to position modularity as a central part of its Source-to-Pay strategy. Organizations can begin with individual areas such as sourcing, Purchase-to-Pay or Accounts Payable automation rather than adopting the entire Source-to-Pay stack at once.

Chris Rauch Joins as Chief Operating Officer

Alongside the commercial appointment, Chris Rauch has joined Proactis as Chief Operating Officer.

Rauch brings more than 25 years of experience across Customer Success, Support and Professional Services in SaaS businesses. His role will focus on improving operational efficiency and ensuring that the organization can scale while maintaining its emphasis on customer outcomes.

“Operational excellence and customer outcomes go hand in hand,” Rauch said. “I’m looking forward to working with the leadership team to build on the strong foundations already in place, ensuring every part of the business is aligned around delivering real value for customers.”

Reardon said Rauch’s experience scaling SaaS organizations would be important as Proactis develops the structures, processes and capabilities required for continued growth.

The operational focus also aligns with the way Proactis currently presents its customer strategy. Beyond software implementation, the company provides Professional Services, Application Managed Services, training, support and account management, positioning adoption and long-term value realization as part of the wider Source-to-Pay lifecycle.

Source-to-Pay Becomes More Closely Connected to the ERP Landscape

For ERP leaders, the significance of the announcement extends beyond the executive appointments themselves.

Source-to-Pay increasingly sits at the intersection of procurement, finance and core ERP infrastructure. Proactis explicitly positions its platform as complementary to existing ERP and finance systems, and lists integrations and relationships across environments including Unit4, NetSuite, Microsoft, Sage Intacct and Infor SunSystems.

That model reflects a broader enterprise technology challenge. Organizations may have procurement functionality within their ERP estate but still face fragmented processes, limited spend visibility, manual invoice handling or gaps between finance and procurement.

Proactis is targeting that layer with a modular approach rather than presenting Source-to-Pay transformation as a core ERP replacement exercise. Its customer deployments illustrate that model: Platform Housing Group, for example, deployed Proactis Source-to-Pay capabilities integrated with Infor SunSystems, while CBRE has used Proactis alongside multiple financial systems.

Why the Leadership Changes Matter

Taken together, the two appointments suggest Proactis is putting greater organizational weight behind both sides of SaaS growth: expanding commercial reach while ensuring delivery and customer operations can scale alongside it.

For Source-to-Pay vendors, that balance is increasingly important. Procurement and finance technology buyers are not only evaluating functionality; they are also considering integration with established ERP environments, implementation complexity, user adoption and the ability to demonstrate measurable improvements after deployment.

Proactis says its technology is now used by more than 1,000 organizations and over two million users, while the company has more than 30 years of experience in spend management.

With Monk leading revenue strategy and Rauch overseeing operations, the company is strengthening its leadership structure around the commercial growth and customer execution required to build on that installed base.

More broadly, the appointments come as procurement and finance transformation become increasingly connected. For ERP and finance leaders, Source-to-Pay is no longer simply a procurement technology decision: it is part of a wider effort to connect spend visibility, supplier management, purchasing and Accounts Payable with the financial systems at the center of enterprise operations.
