Forterro is expanding access to TARGIT business intelligence and analytics software for its customers across Europe, offering industrial businesses pre-defined analytics solutions that connect with the group’s ERP products. Announced on October 29, the expansion covers reporting and dashboards for sales, production, purchasing, warehouse operations and finance.

The move brings a capability acquired in 2025 into wider use across Forterro’s customer base. Rather than introducing a new BI platform, Forterro is extending access to TARGIT alongside the specialist systems its customers already use to manage their operations.
According to Forterro’s announcement, teams have developed pre-defined analytics solutions for its ERP systems since TARGIT joined the business. These are intended to simplify data integration and reduce the manual work involved in assembling reports from separate systems and spreadsheets. TARGIT supports both cloud and on-premises deployments.
Adoption alongside Abas and Orderwise
Forterro says customers are already using TARGIT with ERP products including Abas and Orderwise. Some deployments also combine the BI software with Forterro Production Intelligence, powered by Prodaso, bringing analytics and production intelligence into the same software environment.
For industrial businesses, the operational relevance lies in making data recorded by different functions available for analysis across the business. Sales, purchasing, warehouse and finance teams can use dashboards and automated reporting to examine performance without relying entirely on separately prepared reports. Forterro presents the pre-defined solutions as a way to make that integration easier.
The announcement does not identify the customers involved or provide deployment counts, implementation timelines or measured improvements in reporting efficiency.
“Our customers run their businesses on data, but too often that data sits in separate systems and spreadsheets,” said Niklas Jakobsson, SVP Cross-Portfolio Solutions at Forterro.
Building shared capabilities across the portfolio
The expansion illustrates Forterro’s strategy of offering complementary capabilities across its portfolio while retaining its specialist industrial software products. Jakobsson described analytics as part of a broader effort to give customers easier access to cloud services and AI, with trusted data providing the foundation.
Forterro announced its agreement to acquire TARGIT on June 26, 2025. The Denmark-based company added BI and analytics expertise to a business previously centered on ERP. The current expansion puts that acquisition to work through reporting and analytics offerings for existing Forterro customers.
